Scholarship in New Zealand for Undergraduate Courses

If you plan, you can apply for a variety of scholarships offered by Kiwi universities and colleges before deadlines, making it more feasible to study in New Zealand. These financial aids, available to meritorious international students to assist them in funding their studies, might be partially or entirely compensated based on the requirements, course, and institution. The New Zealand government, as well as several private and public organisations, also give a large number of scholarships and bursaries. Check the requirements and the deadline for applications very carefully before applying.

Tongarewa Scholarship

The Tongarewa Scholarships acknowledge the University's devotion to the community of international students. Each year,  these scholarships are given to international students in a variety of fields. This partial fee-based grant will help cover one year's worth of tuition. Applicants could start their first year of an undergraduate degree at Victoria University of Wellington or begin a postgraduate degree programme. Academic excellence is a criteria for scholarship selection.

International Student Excellence Scholarship

Established in 2016, the University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship.

 The primary goal of the Scholarship is to draw prospective, highly qualified international students to enrol in undergraduate or postgraduate taught study programmes that last at least one year at the University of Auckland.

The scholarship is for international  students who are pursuing a PG Diploma, Masters, or undergraduate degree with 120 or more credits, excluding master's by thesis.

AUT International Excellence Scholarships

High-achieving overseas students enrolled in the NCUK New Zealand Global Education Pathway programmes who desire to study at AUT are the only ones eligible for this grant.

Closing dates are generally in May and November of every year.

UC International First Year Undergraduate Scholarship

The International First Year Grant offers meritorious students with $20,000, $15,000, or $10,000 into their tuition fees account as financial aid.

Those interested in applying for the scholarship must:

     To be international students who pay all fees.

     Must not be an Australian permanent resident, a New Zealander with a residence class visa, or a citizen of any country. 

New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarships

Indian students may apply for the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan when they apply for a master's or PhD. (CSFP). The programme will pay for tuition, living expenses, travel insurance, and establishment subsidies. This scholarship has a lot of advantages, including:

     the whole price of tuition

     a weekly allocation for living expenditures of NZ$491

     Preparation for covering costs 3,000 New Zealand dollars.

     Research expenses and medical and travel insurance for graduate students
